Goechala
Goechala Trek is a high mountain pass that serves as the base camp for Kanchenjunga’s southeast face. This location can only be reached by trekking from Yuksom, and it takes approximately 7-8 days to reach Goechala and return to Yuksom. Because there are no proper accommodations for trekkers, most tourists bring their own sleeping bags and tents. There will be tea stalls, but it is always a good idea to bring your own.
Trek to Yuksom Dzongri
Yuksom Dzongri Trek is one of Sikkim’s most popular Pelling Trekking Packages. The Dzongri trek is a scaled-down version of the Goechala trek. The best view of the mountains and ranges in the Sikkim Himalayas is from Dzongri La.
